Aerotek is building a hiring roster for upcoming Shipyard Laborer/Firewatch openings supporting maintenance, modernization, and repair work on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers at PSNS in Bremerton, WA.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain shipyard experience, build a marine trades resume, and get exposure to skilled trades including welding, fitting, machining, electrical, rigging, and more. We anticipate ramping up to approximately 120 personnel and are beginning the recruiting process now to identify qualified candidates before work officially starts.
Typical schedule:
Employees may work 60+ hour weeks for extended periods depending on project demands. Work hours can fluctuate based on material deliveries, ship access, and production needs. Some weeks may be closer to 40 hours.
We are currently building a personnel roster ahead of the project start date. Candidates selected for the roster will be contacted as positions officially open and hiring begins until staffing levels reach approximately 120 employees.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
