The CF center is also a part of the Therapeutic Development Network-national multi-center research program for cystic fibrosis.Asthma Program - Joint Commission certified for both inpatient and outpatientResident and Medical Student Education - We are the only Pediatric Pulmonary Group for resident and medical student education and rotations since the affiliation with UTMC.Competitive compensation with Quality Performance Financial incentivesCME AllowanceRelocation assistance up to $15KSign on Bonus EligibleCommunity awareness and educationClinical Services:Outpatient pediatric pulmonary clinic-scope of practice includes comprehensive asthma care including advanced biologic therapies, exercise induced asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, apnea of prematurity, interstitial lung disease, chronic respiratory failure and chronic ventilator management, evaluation of airway abnormalities, airway malacia, evaluation of chronic cough, complicated pneumonia follow up, cystic fibrosis, and newborn screening for cystic fibrosisOutpatient Pediatric Sleep Medicine Clinic- New state-of-the-art four-bed pediatric sleep lab currently under constructionInpatient pediatric pulmonary service, including full pediatric pulmonary consultative services, and on call coverageJOB REQUIREMENTSDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Ohio.Board certified or board eligible in pediatric pulmonology specialty.Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
